“It’s the most wonderful time of the year.”
Christmas is a favorite holiday for many people around the world. Whether it’s the music, the memories, or the magic of Santa, Christmas is a wonderful time for children of all ages.
Though many celebrate without any religious connection, Christmas is the traditional celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. The story of the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus is told in the Bible. Mary, Joseph, shepherds, and wise men provide wonderful lessons. Even some of the obscure Christmas people, like Elizabeth or Herod, provide wise instructions.
As a pastor for several years, I have preached hundreds of sermons and lessons about Christmas. It never gets old. But some of the topics and themes become more prominent and valuable as I’ve been able to study the Biblical stories of Christmas. Discover my new book to learn some valuable lessons during the Christmas holiday: Christmas Lessons: Discover a Few Words of Wisdom from the First Christmas.
